Discount Fares

InterCity fares offer great value - every day, everywhere throughout their extensive network.

Children, students, backpackers, and senior travellers, can all travel at reduced rates, while great savings can also be had with various saver fares for advance bookings. Seats are limited on these fares and they are sold on a first come, first served basis, and are only available on select services, so we recommend that you plan your travel and make your bookings well in advance.

All Fares and Saver Fares are subject to individual cancellation and refund policies.

Saver Fares

• Saver - 25% Discount
• Super Saver - 50% Discount
• Extreme Saver - Extreme Discount such as the $10 fare
• Web Saver - Online Only Discount

The following discounts off Standard Fares are offered on all services:

Infants
Less than 3 years old - Free, provided infants do not take up a seat, they sit on an adult's lap.

Children
3 to 12 years - Up to 33% discount. Information on unaccompanied minors.

Students
Secondary and Tertiary - 20% discount. Valid and current student ID cards required.

Backpackers
eg. YHA member - 15% discount. Correct ID card required.

Seniors
Age 60+ years - 20% Discount. ID, SuperGold Card or proof of age may be requested.
